You are watching a song on a TV or hearing it… it’s a new song but you have heard it elsewhere… How many times you have felt it to be so? Is it inspiration or mere coincidence? Or is it more than inspiration? Recently I checked out ITWOFS… and it showed me a list of inspired Indian songs and I was shocked to see the pretty huge list.
The list showed the copied song or tune followed by the original song. Even A.R.Rehman had copied some tunes (not the entire ones though).
Deva is very well known for copying tunes or even the entire song. If you feel that Deva has composed a good song, its copied ofcourse. Even the maestro Mr.Ilayaraja has copied some tunes. Well Deva himself has admitted that he copies tunes. But wait! We must not degrade our music directors. It might be a coincidence or an unexpected occurring. There are inspirations everywhere and if its inspiration in music too, it should not be blamed.
